You will not have this convenience when working inside a MovieClip.Ī common workaround is to create a guide layer in your symbol and then place a rectangle in that guide layer which has the same dimensions as the stage. When building animations on the main timeline, Animate made it obvious where the boundaries of the stage are. You can add pause and kick-off points to the MovieClip's timeline to use the Captivate timeine syncing features. This improves efficiency as shared assets will not need to be downloaded more than once. Repeat the above steps to make another independant animations. Name must be unique.įrom now on, build your animation in this MovieClip just like you would on the Main Timeline. This name can have no spaces or special characters. This name will be used to identify your animation in Captivate.
